Words From the Pastor
MY OWN BRAND OF SOAP PDF Print E-mail

Being a proud American, I am thankful that we have the privilege of Freedom of Speech.  Great thing; although, at times, not used very wisely.

I have been fortunate to have been given the assignment to write a few books so far.  Depending on ones' experiences and place in life, I get different types of feedback.

Having struggled with the need for approval at one point in my life, the not so kind comments were hurtful.  But as the saying goes, "Just keep living."

I haven't outlived the critics, I've just grown to the point that since I am sharing out of the pains of my life, others who are suffering silently and often alone need to know, they are not the only ones.

I have lived long enough to know my purpose is my purpose... so why fight it.

I went silent for many years. I use to think it was because no one was listening but now I realize that in my silence, I am able to hear clearer now, than I could before.

So my books don't minister to everybody.  That's okay because it's just like soap.  The bottom line is at the end of this journey, we all just want to be made clean.

For those who are to share in my processes and triumphs be encouraged and know that God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we may ask or think.

As the song says, "Never would have made it!" by Marvin Sapp.

So for those of us who use the brand of soap that washes away the hidden secrets we struggle with in the body of Christ, read the ones God has allowed me to write but hold on, there is a new fragrance in the making:)

I'm about to begin another book.
